PH LEADERS PUSH FOR GREATER PH-JAPAN ECONOMIC COOPERATION

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. meets with key officials of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), led by its Chairman Ken Kobayashi, in Washington D.C. Thursday on the sidelines of his historic trilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden and Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to further advance economic cooperation with Japanese business leaders. The President shared with them the Philippine government’s initiatives and reforms to enhance the ease of doing business in the country and make it more investor-friendly. With President Marcos during the meeting are Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Manuel “Babe” Romualdez, Finance Secretary Ralph Recto and Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual.
